Kay leads the charge against Chrysler and GM closings...

This week in Washington Kay has been actively railing about Chrysler for forcing the shutdown of dealerships around the country. Many of those dealerships were in Texas (link).

She also has a video up about this issue on her website...

In the video, Kay stands up for the auto dealerships and says that Chrysler should keep them open rather than closing them down as per their downsizing efforts. A very good political move for Kay, especially with all the dealerships who are known to give handsomely to Republican candidates in Texas.

It's too bad senator Hutchinson voted with the Democrats and Republicans in Name Only for the auto bailout in the first place. It's right here in black and white--> http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=111&session=1&vote=00148

A "yes" vote is to prevent bailouts. A "no" vote is for a bailout.

Please take a more critical eye with senator Hutchinson. She is a snake in the grass and not a fiscally conservative senator at all.

Hey now, campaign characters. Be nice. I know a lot of you on both sides, so I don't want any overly foul language, personal attacks on anyone other than the candidates themselves, or other party fouls. I will moderate the heck out of you if you start breaking the bounds of civility.
