Rick and Kay were both at the new Cowboys Stadium at the same time, and they were also both in Denison as well, but only Rick got to speak (link). Excerpt follows...
Dignitaries including Gov. Rick Perry, U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Texas, and U.S. Rep. Ralph Hall, R-Rockwall, will gather at the park at the Katy Depot at 2 p.m. for the event, with Sullenberger speaking at 2:50 p.m.
From one pilot to another I guess... takes one to know one.... interesting that Rick and Kay have been at some of the same events lately but like ships passing in the night.
