In the Pink mocks AP's credibility... I think...

Eileen Smith is either totally off her rocker... or maybe she is just really incisively and subtly poking fun at the AP story about Rick buying land and selling it 7 years later for a higher price (link). Excerpt follows...

Why is Rick Perry helping to arm rebels in Africa by selling off property in Horseshoe Bay?

Not that Doug Jaffe isn’t interesting in his own right. The Morning News says he did business with the government of Nicolae Ceausescu, communist dictator of Romania, and Samuel Doe, president of Liberia. Why does Rick Perry want to turn Texas into a communist dictatorship by selling off property in Horseshoe Bay?

Forget about the land deal. That’s just a red herring. Horseshoe Bay is about to become the resort of choice for heavily armed violent dictators, who may or may not pee in the pool.

I am pretty sure she is mocking their entire story... and its credibility. Pretty funny really...

These were some of my first thoughts reading the story... it was so hyped up based on some 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon friends of friends of friends stuff... it was one of the most laughable pieces of "journolism" I have seen in quite some time... so outlandish and lacking credibility that it just kind of makes you shake your head in disapproval...

Hey now, campaign characters. Be nice. I know a lot of you on both sides, so I don't want any overly foul language, personal attacks on anyone other than the candidates themselves, or other party fouls. I will moderate the heck out of you if you start breaking the bounds of civility.
