Word on the street... Bill White has raised a lot of money ("blew the barn doors off") and will have more cash on hand than Rick, even though he spent a million dollars on television ads...
Rick's money haul has been harder to gauge, but it was obviously pretty good since they raised a million dollars in the money cannon right at the end...
What is everyone hearing?
Kay led in money on hand throughout the entire primary and out spent Rick by millions of dollars...
Rick was also vastly outspent by Tony Sanchez, and collectively outspent a few times to one by Carole, Kinky, and Chris Bell...
Money isn't everything... the only way the finance reports really matter is if Bill White shows 15 million dollars on hand... or 1 million dollars on hand... either way it would be shocking.
Rick can and will get his money... he always seems to have enough to win against better funded candidates...
Hearing that Bill White has raised 15 million. Is that cumulative? This year? New money? Already reported money? I don't know. But that's a big number.
