Perry's stronger with Anglo voters, leading White 55 percent to 25 percent. White is stronger with African American voters (69 to 5) and with Hispanics (43 to 32). Perry is ahead among both men (48 to 34) and women (40 to 35).

There was also a poll by Democrats showing Rick up by 9% over Bill White (link). Then there is that Texas Democratic Trust poll that had Rick up by 4... yeah right (link). There have also been polls showing Rick up by 13 in Rasmussen (link), 16 in Texas Research (link), 13 in the liberal Democrat Maslin poll (link).

A lot of polls... all pointing to one basic conclusion... Rick is up by an average of 10.67 in the polls that have come out in the past week.

Bill White has spent more than a million dollars on television commercials (link), and he has not made even a slight dent.

Hey now, campaign characters. Be nice. I know a lot of you on both sides, so I don't want any overly foul language, personal attacks on anyone other than the candidates themselves, or other party fouls. I will moderate the heck out of you if you start breaking the bounds of civility.
