A tale of two twitter feeds... Rick versus Bill White...

During the battle between Rick and Kay I paid a lot of attention to their twitters and came to the conclusion that the quality of the twitters belied the quality of the candidates and the respective campaigns (link). Kay was often pictured with small groups... she often looked dour and depressed... Rick used his twitter feed to show off large crowds, interesting things, and a personal side of himself. Even Debra Medina's flagging and fading grassroots support was at least partially exposed through twitter (link).

Already there is a big difference showing between Bill White and Rick on twitter. Not only does Rick's twitter operation put Bill White's to shame in terms of numbers and engagement but look at these pictures from Rick...

The Jonas Brothers? Nick Jonas and Joe Jonas... they are not only mega celebrities, they fit right into Rick's social conservative base... this girl Demi Lovato is apparently a big deal as well based on her 1.7 million twitter followers...

Look at the lady on the left... she looks bored or annoyed... and this is a really weird caption to include...

This may have been a great event, but this is a terrible photo. No people. Dark and dismal...

This was from the endorsement from the Democrat who claims to have been a Republican at one point Charles England... the reporter Omar Villafranca also tweeted at this disastrous event...

24 people... 90% of whom were press... that is pathetic... this old white guy looks washed up, angry, and not someone who is going to change the game. As I blogged already, this guy's son switched from the Republican side to the Democrat side 3 years ago and Charles England trashed the Republicans at the time... that family has made its bed... and it is not even close to a Republican bed.

This is a lot like the Rick vs. Kay comparison... except Bill White supports Obama's health care plans, thinks cap and trade does not go far enough, and won't release his taxes...
