The tracker who followed Rick around during the primary was hired today by Rick's peeps (link). Excerpt follows from Jason Embry...
Dallas Reed, whom Kay Bailey Hutchison’s campaign sent around the state to videotape Gov. Rick Perry’s every move leading up to the Republican primary for governor, is now working for Perry, the victor in that race.
Reed now tracks the every move of Democratic nominee Bill White.
Even when they were on opposing sides, Reed and the Perry camp were pretty cordial. Perry body man Clint Harp and Reed once famously exchanged pleasantries before and after Harp stood in front of Reed’s camera to block his shot of Perry entering a fundraiser at Sullivan’s.
The bigger surprise here may be that a Hutchison staffer is still working in Texas.
Harsh... but true... it seems like most of Kay's staffers left the state to work somewhere else... or aren't working...
I guess in some ways it really was just an intramural scrimmage... most of Kay's peeps are now supporting Rick... Rick is reaching out to them...

Hey now, campaign characters. Be nice. I know a lot of you on both sides, so I don't want any overly foul language, personal attacks on anyone other than the candidates themselves, or other party fouls. I will moderate the heck out of you if you start breaking the bounds of civility.
