Rasmussen has Rick up 53-42 (link). Excerpt follows...
Republican Governor Rick Perry has now moved past 50% support against Democratic challenger Bill White in his bid for reelection in Texas.
The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Voters shows Perry picking up 53% of the vote, while White, a former mayor of Houston, earns 42% support. Two percent (2%) prefer some other candidate, and four percent (4%) are undecided.
Two weeks ago, Perry held a more modest 48% to 42% lead over White. The new numbers move the race from Leans GOP to Solid GOP in the Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 Gubernatorial Scorecard.
In 10 surveys conducted since February, Perry has received support ranging from 47% to 53%. White’s support has ranged from 38% to 44% during the same period.
The survey of 750 Likely Voters in Texas was conducted on October 6, 2010 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 4 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
Hey but Bill White has more Facebook fans... his own staffers put out a "report" saying so... lol...
