Rick 49.3 - Bill White 40.0 Real Clear Politics average

Rick leads by 9.3% in the Real Clear Politics polling average... and look at the trend... Rick seems to be surging (link)...

Bill White spent millions and millions of dollars including millions just from one man Steve Mostyn the George Soros of Texas (link). Excerpt follows...

I fully expect that, by the end of this election cycle, Houston trial lawyer Steve Mostyn will have surpassed the $5.1 million that Houston homebuilder Bob Perry gave to Texas candidates and causes in the 2008 election, which, according to Texans for Public Justice, was the most of any donor that year.
Mostyn may well have already surpassed it.
In 2010 alone, Mostyn and his firm have given more than $3.5 million to three political committees — the Back to Basics PAC, which he has used to criticize Gov. Rick Perry; Texans for Insurance Reform, which helps Democrats and is largely backed by trial lawyers; and the new Texans for Public Education, where almost all of the money so far has come from Mostyn’s firm.
That doesn’t count at least $400,000 that he has given to the Democratic Governors Association, nor does it account for donations to individual candidates.
Bill White spent all that money for months and didn't make much of a dent... at best it just prevented Rick from running away with it earlier. Now that Rick has been on the air for a couple of weeks, he is surging, and Bill White shows no signs of being able to win.

  1. Word on the street is that Bill White is losing by double-digits in the Corpus Christi area, could it be a sign that Perry could win this baby by 17-20 points ?

Hey now, campaign characters. Be nice. I know a lot of you on both sides, so I don't want any overly foul language, personal attacks on anyone other than the candidates themselves, or other party fouls. I will moderate the heck out of you if you start breaking the bounds of civility.
