Kay looks like she is putting another couple million dollars behind a new road sign ad...

Kay has a new ad... spotted via the increasingly resourceful Texas Tribune (link). Excerpt follows...

Here's the script and the campaign's sourcing:

Script For "Cha-Ching" (TV:30):

CHYRON: “This is not a European road.

“Yet.

“Rick Perry tried to seize private land and toll existing roads.

“So a foreign company could collect tolls, too.

“A top Perry aide was the foreign company’s lobbyist.

“Before Perry gave them billions in TxDOT contracts.

“Cha-ching. Cha-ching. Cha-ching.

“Rick Perry.

“Slippery conditions ahead.”

If this is Kay's new television ad they will likely put at least a million or two dollars behind it... I am not sure that is a great use of resources but I guess they have seen something in their polling that indicates Rick is vulnerable on toll roads...

Again though this looks a lot like Strayhorn part two... I just don't see this as being a game changer type of ad...

Hey now, campaign characters. Be nice. I know a lot of you on both sides, so I don't want any overly foul language, personal attacks on anyone other than the candidates themselves, or other party fouls. I will moderate the heck out of you if you start breaking the bounds of civility.
