Big John and Kay to prevail on judicial nominations?

Gavel Grab has the story in a blog (link)...

CQ Politics reports that Sen. John Cornyn has stated in plain words that if the White House does not give his and Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchinson’s judicial recommendations their due attention, there will be repercussions. The two Texas senators have been consulting a judicial nominating committee made up primarily of Texas attorneys to screen U.S. attorney, U.S. marshal and federal judge nominees.

“It’s not my intention to make threats or pick a fight,” Sen. Cornyn said. But if the senators’ suggestions are not considered, the withholding of blue slips is “certainly always an option.”

Will Kay and Big John give Obama's Texas nominees the blue slip special?

Hey now, campaign characters. Be nice. I know a lot of you on both sides, so I don't want any overly foul language, personal attacks on anyone other than the candidates themselves, or other party fouls. I will moderate the heck out of you if you start breaking the bounds of civility.
