Let the quibbling start and the fact checking begin. Positive ads usually go on for a period of time before negative ads hit... I think both sides will be building up their credentials before the hits come next year.
Will either of these ads move the dial? I doubt it. This was a game of chicken or mutually assured destruction...
It looks like Kay's team blinked first, and Rick's peeps were ready to fire back so they did. Will Rick go up on the radio as Kay did today? Her radio spot can be heard over at Texas Politics blog (link) thanks to Mr. Ratcliffe. Again these are nice first spots... nothing ground breaking... nothing that will move the dial too much... but the checkers game has just barely started...
