"Picking a fight with Washington is not a long-term strategy to move Texas forward"

In the past two weeks, Kay has alternated from saying she is just as anti Washington as Rick to saying, "Picking a fight with Washington is not a long-term strategy to move Texas forward." It is hard to have it both ways.

Based on the contrast taken from these competing fundraising letters, Republican Primary Voters in Texas will have to decide which message resonates more: Perry's record of job creation and budget surpluses vs. Hutchison's record of voting for the federal bailout and spending time in Washington.
I think Kay is still struggling to find her voice. Is she just as anti Washington as Rick, or is she belittling Rick for his anti Washington rhetoric?
