BILOXI — The National Governors Association conference has produced an ally for outdoors enthusiasts everywhere.
Gov. Haley Barbour and some of his contemporaries announced the formation of the Governors Sportsmen’s Caucus on Friday, patterned much like the Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation, which has served the interest of outdoorsmen in the U.S. Congress and federal land management agencies.
Sixteen governors have joined the caucus, less than half of them from the South (Gov. Sonny Perdue, Georgia; Gov. Phil Bredesen, Tennessee; Gov. Rick Perry, Texas; Barbour; and Gov. Bobby Jindal, Louisiana). It’s membership crosses party lines.
Killing tasty animals things crosses party lines...
Kay is also part of a sportsman caucus in the Congress (link). Does Kay hunt and fish?

Hey now, campaign characters. Be nice. I know a lot of you on both sides, so I don't want any overly foul language, personal attacks on anyone other than the candidates themselves, or other party fouls. I will moderate the heck out of you if you start breaking the bounds of civility.
